My name is Jasmine Christine and I’m so happy you’ve found my website. I look forward to working with you and hope that I am able to serve your needs for years to come.

A little about myself. I married my high school sweetheart in 2007, we have two beautiful children, and my family is enormous! I am currently working on my Bachelors in Marketing at University of Houston-Clear Lake to assist me in launching this business into a lifelong career. All of the lack of sleep is to further my studio and create a better life for my family.Mikayla-833.jpg

I found my passion for photography after upgrading my camera before a Walt Disney World trip with my family. I wanted to be able to take good pictures of my kids and document their lives with a quality piece of equipment. Not long after I started using it, I realized I didn’t know much about the big fancy camera so I signed up for a Photography 1301 class from College of the Mainland. I  quickly found out that the 35mm camera that was required for the course referred to the film size, not the lens (HA,) so it began my journey of learning.

I began by learning how to work a single lens reflex camera using black and white film. I enjoyed figuring out how to break open a film cartridge, spool the film in pitch black, developing it by shaking a light tight tin, and developing the photos in a darkroom. It taught me to take my time, knowing that each frame and each sheet of photo paper was precious and finite. I loved being in the dark room manipulating the equipment to get the look I was going for. I found myfireworks 2.jpg happy place and I was hooked. After that class, I signed up for two more classes; one in different types of film, the other in digital photography. That is when I truly found my passion. To take what I learned with the dark room and film, and applying it to the digital format, I appreciated so much more the things I could do.

Not long into the second semester, I took on my first boudoir project. Four beautiful women gave me the chance to take them from their everyday style, to gorgeous sensual vixens. I had found my first love. There is no greater satisfaction than handing over a woman’s little black book, showing them how truly breathtaking they can be, and hearing about how amazing they felt during the session. I truly love it with every piece of me and hope to continue to do so until I can no longer see!

Shooting formerly under Bijou Photography, I started doing just boudoir and seniors. I have since branched out and have shot just about everything including private parties, weddings, babies, kids, families, maternity, car shows, and even doing some art shows. Once I realized I needed to step my game up, I dropped the previous name and started rebuilding my portfolio from the ground up. I’ll be going through some growing pains, I’m sure, but I’m happy you’ve decided to come along for the ride.
